Taipei World Trade Centre (TWTC) and Taiwan Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers' Association (TEEMA) have partnered with the Tamil Nadu government and CII to organise Taitronics India 2007 from September 14 to 16 at the Chennai Trade Centre, Nandambakkam.

The three-day event will be formally inuagurated by Andrew Li-Yan, ambassador, Taipei Economic and Cultural Centre, and is expected to draw more than 100 top exhibitors and 35,000 local and foreign buyers.

With 35 years of history uunder its belt, the Taipei International Electronics Show (Taitronics) has officially entered a new era by crossing international boundaries and coming to Chennai, India, for the first time. A two-day conference, Connect 2007, will run concurrently with the show.

Taitra opened its 2,400 sq ft Taiwan Trade Centre at the Chennai Trade Centre.
