@home – the complete home solutions store – into ‘the gateway to
south India’, Chennai. Actress Meena launched the home solutions
store at Aminjikarai recently.
Nilkamal Ltd has introduced a home solutions
store at Aminjikarai, launched by Manish Parekh, Nayan Parekh
and Hiten Parekh. Decor solutions are spread over an expansive
32,000 sq ft campus, the biggest store from Nilkamal in India
with more than 5,000 products under one roof that includes an
array of accessories and sofa furnishings.
@home – Chennai offers 24 living room styles,
18 bedroom sets and dining room options of the same number. A
range of designer candles, paintings, pictures frames,
ornamental flowers and vases to furnish and adorn the
surrounding walls. @home also offers a range of merchandise in
Ripple Fragrance, an exotic collection of incense sticks,
candles, vapourisers, pot pourri amongst others.
@home also recommends home planning
solutions. The 3-D imaging software and a team of trained
in-house interior designers will help you remake and revive your
dream home with novel product offerings, recreating the pretty
picture of your home, with mix-n-match accessories in a span of
few minutes. @home has tie-ups with Eglo for Lights, Pergo
Floorings and Sleek Kitchens.
Nilkamal Ltd is a Rs 500 crore listed company
and one of the world's largest manufacturers of moulded
furniture and India's leading manufacturer of material handling
systems. Nilkamal ventured into retail with the launch of
@home – complete home solutions store.
The company plans to invest Rs 30-40 crore in
the retail venture over three years and expects a revenue of Rs
325 crore from a planned network of 38 company–owned stores in
2009/10. Approximately, 75 per cent of their customers are
individual buyers. The rest 25 per cent are complete solution
buyers.
By the end of FY 07–08, the company will add
eight stores to the existing number of eight, taking the total
to 16 stores nationally. Nilkamal will soon be launching their
4th store in Mumbai, at Thane, and will further expand to
Coimbatore.
