Two Malayalam translations of actor Kamal Haasan's Tamil screenplays — 'Mahanadhi' and 'Hey Ram' — was released at the inaugural function of the World Book Fair at the Chandrashekaran Nair Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram on October 28 (Sunday).

K S Viswanathan is the translator of the book titled 'Kamalahaasanda Randu Thirakadhagal'.

This is the first time that Tamil screenplays are being translated and released in Malayalam, a spokesperson of Kamal Haasan's production unit claimed.

The actor is rated to have done a first-rate job with the screenplays in both the films 'Mahanadhi' and 'Hey Ram'.

Kamal had played the hero in both films.

In 'Hey Ram' he was joined by a number of Hindi actors led by Shahrukh Khan and Rani Mukherjee.

Although the film was a not a big hit, it earned rave reviews and secured high priase for Kamal both for the acting and the screenplay.
