The actor who ruled the roost in Tamil films for most part of the eighties, thanks to memorable songs composed by 'Maestro' Ilaiyaraja in almost all his films is on a comeback mode with 'Suttapazham'. Subha Punja plays heroine and the the film is produced and directed by G. Kamaraj on behalf of Pintex Films.
Recently, the Censor Board is said to have objected to some 'objectionable' scenes in the movie and has reportedly cut off those scenes, measuring around 60 feet.
When contacted, Kamaraj said that his film was basically a comic thriller and that Mohan's role could easily be construed as that of a 'sex-killer' but the mystery would only be revealed in the climax sequence. He said that there was indeed some 'cuts' by the Censor Board of scenes involving the lead pair in a 'bedroom' scene and a 'kissing' scene. These were added only because the fitted the 'mood' and 'tenor' of the movie, claims Kamaraj.
Mohan's future on his comeback movie would be known shortly when the film hits the screens on the 18th of this month.
