First Anniversary Celebration

Charulatha Mani, a popular Carnatic Vocalist, has been presenting the “Isai Payanam” programme on Jaya TV for the past 60 weeks, dealing with a raga every week, and highlighting the Classical and Film songs based in that raga. This show has been receiving tremendous response from viewers all over the globe, and hence these concert versions of Isai Payanam have become a monthly event.

Nine Isai Payanam concerts were held over the past year very successfully to overflowing audiences. Giri Trading Agency is bringing out every Isai Payanam concert as DVDs and several such volumes have been released so far. This event attracts huge audiences from all sections of the public.

The First Anniversary celebration of Isai Payanam and Tenth Concert of the series is to take place on the 16th of February, 6:15 p.m at Narada Gana Sabha, Main Hall.

The Chief Guest for the occasion would be Mellisai Mannar Sri. M.S. Viswanathan, one of the greatest Music Directors. Sri ARS, renowned actor, would be the Guest of Honour.

• Kaanada and Durbari-Kaanada

There would be a musical quiz with prizes from Giri Trading Agency and SRS Thanga Maligai.
