Director: P. Vasu
Cast: Bala, Charmi, Kalabhavan Mani, Vivek, Manivannan, P. Vasu
How thoughtless action and playful gossip can create havoc in the lives of two young people forms the core of the film. The knot had the potential, but with the director depending on a whole series of
co-incidences to carry forward his story, there's not much surprise or exciting viewing for the audience. The lead pair, however, have done their parts to credit. Bala is energetic, and has taken a lot of pain over the fight scenes, while Charmi shows a marked improvement in her performance. Kalabhavan Mani is plainly irritating, and Vivek's comic capers are better forgotten.
Studious Indu and classmate Sriram have barely a nodding acquaintance, but their common friends in playful mischief, try to link them to a romantic affair.
Their so-called romance reaches the ears of Indu's fathers, a local don, who, ignoring Indu's pleas of innocence, arranges her marriage elsewhere, and sends some goons to bash up Sriram. How the matter is resolved forms the rest. The narrative style and scripting hardly
warrant a viewing for this film.
