Following is my prediction:

The whole episode will be forgotten after the World Cup.

At the most there will be some revelations which will never bring the real problem to the surface.

Even if some Pakistan team player is suspected, they will be let off with some temporary short-term measure.

The Pakistan government will promise to co-operate.

The match-fixing controversy will be slowly put in the backburner. 

The world cricket council will proceed with the probe and sumbit some interesting conculsion.

As usual there will be a change of team coach and management in Paksitan and India, which is based more on common sense than on prediction.
