Cheer time for Children. Alliance Francaise de Madras is Presenting a Children's Film Festival from June 2 to June 6 at its auditorium.
"Ratatoille", which is about a rat that dreams of becoming a great french chef. It tells the story of Remy (voiced by Patton Oswalt), a rat living in Paris who wants to be a chef, but has to overcome the disapproval of his family and the prejudice of humans. Using a somewhat hapless young man as a means through which to practice his art, Remy meets yet another obstacle in the form of a famous, notoriously hard-to-please food critic named Anton Ego, nicknamed "The Grim Eater".
"My father's glory" is a film based based on "Memories of Childhood", autobiographical stories by filmmaker, playwright and author Marcel Pagnol. The film is the heartwarming story of a loving family and a happy childhood.
"Kirikou et la sorciere" is a French-Belgian animated film based on an African folk tale where a newborn boy saves his village by ridding the world of Karaba, the evil sorceress.
While Hariharan's "Dubashi" in Tamil showcases Multi-language skills as an empowerment tool, "Princess et Princess" by ocelot tells six tales in a single film.
