Hitting Chennai roads with the english message

VetaVeta, Asia’s largest spoken English Training academy, has launched a unique campaign to spread the importance of good spoken English communicative skills. The drive involves a Veta branded van travelling to various important locations in the city from April 6, 2009 to May 7, 2009 and distributing door-to-door a booklet containing easy to speak English tips. Counsellors are available at each destination to provide assistance on Spoken English Training courses offered by Veta.

The objective of the road show is to create awareness among the people in the city on the importance of communicative skills in English.

Mr S.D.Venkatesh, GM Operations says “Globalisation has brought a lot of importance to functional English. It becomes easier for a student with good communication skills and well groomed personality to get a good job in this competitive era. Through this roadshow, we intend to reach out to as many people as possible and educate them on the importance of being proficient in spoken English.”

Various destinations in Chennai covered through the initiative include Ambattur, Anna Nagar, Perambur, Old Washermanpet, Purasaivakkam, Triplicane, T. Nagar, Kodambakkam, Mylapore, Madipakkam, Tambaram and Thiruvanmiyur.
