Vijay TV is all set with its new series KHAKKI - a story dedicated to the Police Department. The serial revolves around 5 young police officers; Mathiazagan, Dhamayandhi, Arjun, Raghavan, Nyanavel and Anbuselvan who have dedicated their lives to fight against immorality.

A novel attempt on tamil television, the serial promises the grandeur of an high energy action film. The series will also show the family and friends of these police officials and their lives.

The 5 characters playing the part of highly ranked cops have been trained by real police officers to play their part right. Produced by Touch Screen Media Pvt. Ltd; the series is directed by Brahma. Gopi Sundar scores the music to the already popular title track whose lyrics are penned by Raja Chandrasekar.

This high emotion and action series Khakki starts September 22; airing Monday - Thursday at 7.30pm.
