Girish Karnad's contemporary new play "Wedding Album" is to be staged in chennai. Media Mix is presenting the show which is to be staged for the public at Chinmaya Heritage Centre on Saturday July 12.

� The "Wedding Album " explores the traditional Indian Wedding in a globalized, technologically advanced India .

� It is a hilarious and moving spectacle of a normal, urban, educated, liberal and modern middle- class family with a daughter who lives abroad with her professional husband, a son who is a software designer and the youngest daughter happy enough to marry a suitable boy from the US she has never met. Then, of course, there is the doting mother and the loyal cook.

� The play, insightful, comic and revelatory about the India we live in today, is all set to enthrall the audience,bringing to the fore emotions that are distinctly human.
