Today you may not know his name. But tomorrow you may be singing his tunes. Amresh Ganesh, the young kid on the block, is the newest musical sensation making waves across Chennai. 18 years of age and pursuing Visual Communication at Loyola College, Amaresh Ganesh today released his album, LIFE, in a glittering function at the Kamaraj Memorial Hall. The album is produced by his mother, Dr. Kalaimamani G. Jayachitra, veteran actor of South India who had acted in over 200 films.

The music album launch was indeed a glitzy affair. The function was presided over by Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Mr. M. Karunanidhi. Also present were Mr. T. Subbarami Reddy, MP of India from Andhra Pradesh, K. Balachader, film director, Malayalam movie director Mr. Hariharan, Telugu actor Murali Mohan and Mr. Ashok Krishnan from RPG.

The music album LIFE is being released in 4 languages, Vazhkai in Tamil, Jeevitham in Telugu, Jeevidam in Malayalam and Jeevan in Hindi. Each language has a total of 11 songs. The young Music Director, Amresh Ganesh is a writer, rhythm player and singer and the songs for LIFE are written and sung by legends of the Cinema Industry.

MP Subbarami Reddy was all praise for the young musician and the Honourable Chief Minister. "Mr. Karunanidhi has got magical powers! He has enormous energy to serve Tamil Nadu and make it the best state. He is a man with determination and anyone will be inspired by him. He has a got a great future ahead of him and will definitely become the next A.R. Rahman."

Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi said at the album launch, "Amresh should grow and prosper and he will definitely grow and prosper. Life is not only to live, but also to fulfil all your responsibilities and obligations. With a certain amount of discipline, Amresh will surely reach new heights."

The album songs are based on mother sentiment, relations, importance of friendship, infatuation, love, love marriage failure, love wife, arranged marriage failure and nationality. Every song is highlighted with deep morals, sentiments and traditional values. Some of the legends who have contributed to the making of this album are Padmashri Dr. S.P. Balasubramaniam, Karthik, Binny Krishnakumar, Sujatha, Harini, Vijay Yesudas, Mahati, and of course the director Amresh Ganesh.
