MARG , a leading player in construction industry has now come up with a new idea of conducting a Family Quiz thus bringing all the members together in peace, happiness and harmony.

Chinmaya Mission, an organization that has been engaged in social services world wide has launched a book titled 'For the Family' which would help the family members answer the quiz. The book would speak about family bonding, values, environment, daily living, spirituality and so on. HH Swami Swaroopananda, Acharya- Chinmaya Mission released the book and GRK Reddy, Chairman of MARG received the first copy of the book.

At a time when parents just spend an hour with their children, this book would definitely be a learning guide to them assured Swami Swaroopananda. The quiz is designed specially for families so that they can live, learn, grow together, come together and spend some quality time together. Various issues relating to families are also discussed in it. Says Swami Swaroopananda at the occasion, "Family oneness is highly important and it is declining day by day. Today two people living together claim that theirs is a family. This book would definitely change that idea, making this place a better one."

'Seven minds, one right answer' is the motto for the Family Quiz and facilitating knowledge sharing is the important motive behind the whole initiative. The participants must have a seven member family of which two are substitutes. This seven member family can include distant relatives too. They must choose a family day which must not include their birthdays and anniversaries. They must also come up with a family statement through which children will have a strong affirmation.

With the registration fee of just Rs.100, families will have verbal assessments, written assessments and exciting games as part of their tasks. The Grand Prize for the winners will be prize money of Rupees One Lakh and an all expense paid trip to the Himalayas. Says Swami Mitrananda, Acharya- Chinmaya Mission, "A quiz is the only attempt and method to bring about and instill oneness and unity in them." Speaking on the same lines, GRK Reddy also said that the book will be an ultimate guide for four generations to sit and discuss together. "Gather the family together and we stand as one family!"
