With the mercury level soaring to Himalayan heights the summer syndrome is back again with a bang. The sound of ASSH�.followed by groaning and moaning.. This time the Sun God is very affectionate to us by bathing us with his rays from early morning quipped Ramji who is a software professional .He is bearing the brunt of it. A group of young energetic tech savvy boys and girls wait in the street corners for their pick up buses dripping with sweat.

The tender coconut sellers are round the corner selling fresh ones at magical prices. the spate of Pazhamudhir Cholai which dishes out even exotic straw berry juice is incredible. For those who cannot afford the garden picked fruits, they rely on rasna packets and aerated drinks. The children are pushed into summer classes which is a great escapade to the parents. But they are perennially opening the fridge doors to gulp and sip some coolant.to quench their thirst.

The dull drab day is compensated by the breezy soirees. People who are dripping at day are drinking ( juice) at dusk. For children who idolize fast food and bottled drinks they throng the at ice cream parlors to eat dollops of ice cream which is their Manna from heaven. The busy fourth and second main roads justify the above statement as they are the hub of this suburb. It is a common sight to see the youth precariously perched on their two wheelers interacting with mirthful vigour.
