The ninth edition of Affordable Art Show will go underway at the Vinnyasa Premier Art Gallery in the city. This year, the show will host platform for over 900 paintings representing around 150 artists.

The Affordable Art show will be an exhibition-cum-sale, with paintings and sculptures of both, well-known and lesser-known artists, from across India. A variety of paintings and prints of all sizes will be on display, to ensure that there is something for each of the novices and connoisseurs, visiting the show. The artworks on display will be priced across a wide range.

Speaking about the upcoming show, Ms. Viji Nagashwaran, Founder & Owner, Vinnyasa Premier Art Galery, says "The aim is to bridge the divide between art and the buyer, by making the art available within the means of the common man. Vinnyasa was set up with the primary objective of offering a platform for the numerous artists in Chennai, who have so much talent, but were unable to tap the right audiences. The Affordable Art show was conceptualized so as to help us meet both these activities and has been extremely well-received by our patrons over the last eight years. This time, some of the best pieces by well-known artists will be priced very reasonably and this will be the best time for patrons to pick up these pieces. Indeed, we are confident that this edition will also be a success."
