Now ask people they flaunt about their new flyover and praise it so much for making their commutation so easy than ever before. If this is the accolade received for inaugurating just one wing of the gigantic flyover, then Chennai public might run out of words to eulogize their developing city.

Cribbing about something is quite common among citizens, but let's do the flashback round now! When the flyover was under construction it was more like an enemy for the public. Cursing the delay in constructing, claiming this reason for sluggish traffic movement and what not. But now this foe has turned a friend.

The Katipara flyover has a three lane traffic movement slot and commuting to airport will be in a matter of few minutes. The track opened for public is the stretch connecting Tambaram to Koyambedu. Therefore airport frequenter regard this a boon!.

Few days ago a forwarded mail did rounds across the city; the subject of the mail was pictures of future Chennai. Amazing were those shots which made Chennai look like a foreign shooting destination. A bird's eye view of the various flyovers under construction! Padi, Airport, Tambaram and the list accommodates quite a few traffic heavy places will be blessed by flyovers in few more years to come. When all these flyovers would be open for public, people will still crib about not knowing which track leads where!

"This is something like a boon to me. I take this road regularly to reach koyambedu for my job. Before I used to pray that the traffic congestion should be less, now this worry no more finds a place in my priority list. The movement of vehicles is so smooth" says a satisfied commuter.

Now using roadways as a means of transportation will not be a nightmare. Estimating travel time by accommodating the slothful traffic is no more required. Take a trip via the one winged flyover of the Katipara junction to understand how easy it is. Using words like 'zing' and 'swung' like kids is what can be written about this much awaited flyover.
