Blur: Are you game for it? Now movie buffs have more than one reason to visit Sathyam cinemas. Yes an all new gaming zone was launched at Sathyam Cinemas recently.

Blur - the real gaming experience has everything, from PC to hand held games, consoles and play stations.

Present at the launch occasion was Tan Ngaronga, COO, Sathyam Cinemas and this is what he has to say on the new addition to the ever growing array of offerings. "Sathyam offered the Chennaities good movies, good food and entertainment. We wanted to add more to it and that's how Blur was born. We have given focus to family entertainment, where both adults and kids can game."

On the day of launch the zone was abuzz with celebrities and the event was kicked off by a celebrity play off wherein, actors played games and competed with each other. Actor Abbas and his wife Erum Ali, singers Vijay Yesudas and Naresh Iyer, actor Naren, Meena and Sanghavi, Lissy Priyadarshan, director Vasant and Lingusamy, A 1 racer Parthiv Sureshwaran were all the first bunch of gamers who tried their hands at Blur.

Blur: Are you game for it? Blur has three floors dedicated only to video games, arcade games, a two lane bowling alley, food counters and a restaurant, a gaming store that sells the latest games and software

Bhavesh Shah, Head, Gaming and Retail says, "A team of gamers struggled for around 2 years in bringing out these games. This place is for those hard core gamers who will not experience all these at home."

Vijay Yesudas was seen playing a game with his friend and singer Naresh Iyer. Says Vijay Yesudas"I'm not much of a gamer though I love playstations. Chennai needed something like this and it must have come years back. But this is a good initiative taken by Sathyam Cinemas. Youngsters should come here only on weekends to play and must not waste their time playing here in weekdays as they must be busy studying only."

Parthiv Sureshwaran an A 1 racer, who defeated Vijay Yesudas at a racing game sounded excited, "Blur sound really exciting and I had a major fun playing today. I feel I liked playing this more than playing at races. I will see to it that I come here every weekend and get my hands on these games."
