The crucified has lots to say
Of man and soul without delay
But where is man to hear it all
None has time here at all
Poor Lord he came on earth to see
Mankind all pure and crystal clear
What hath God received you see
Nothing dear but pain and fear
Fear that he will have to destroy
All on earth, as in ancient Troy.
Wake up you men and women strong
Come touch the buds of sweat and blood
He is ready to take us along
And hold us high above the flood
The crucified is lamenting
Calling, cajoling and crying
Come my child, come to me,
Look up to me the crucified
Here am I to take your woes
Today, tomorrow or any day without foes.
