In solitude our only strength
Is being in prayer with one breath
The Lord doth tell us what to do
As we cling to him to mend our wounds
Our woes and sorrows will we share
So too our joys and fun fare
Through prayer shall we express it all
To the Lord and saviour of us all
He doth strengthen us to regain
All the lost and torn to gain
What happiness will we receive then
The charm and grace of prayer soothen
Yea children of the Lord so young
Come and fight through prayer and so nay
The Lord doth bestow us with grace
Mercy, blessing with a lace. |
