How much longer…?

Afflicted with a viral disease
Like the viLaam fruit,
My flesh all dry has run its lease,
My body a bare root!
Yes, the body now a mere shell
Ravaged by lust to repine,
Ignorance thriving alive and well
Like stupidity and fools align!
As I weaken in physical state
Won’t you your grace bestow?
How much longer must I wait
Before I see your glow?
The samaNa saints met their fate
At the gallows of deathly sighs,
After losing with you their debate
O’ Warrior and Apostle wise!
As Child-Guru, "HIM" you taught
Meaning of the sacred quote;
O’ son of Siva - Uma’s consort!
Who bears poison in his throat!
At Kashi yet another home have you
On the banks of the Ganges sun,
O’ how much longer must I imbue
Before we merge into one?
