Bombay
You top the rosters for the lure of lives.
A dower from a bride you burst into name.
Your prince a myth, Your elan deifies
The isle; gods aggregate for many a game
Then you start throbbing with great traffic.
Ecstasies abjure all norms and qualms,
Peddling wares, your ennui's specific.
Then to primal instinct life conforms.
But you have another aspect more taking;
The surge of crush, the flash of foam and light,
The cute climb of concrete that's breath-taking.
The rush of wheels moving macadam's might.
Who can fathom your psyche's pacific?
It's a melange that is terrific.
