 A native of Periyakulam, born to Janaki and T N VenkataSubramaniam, M.A., B.L, Indira Renganathan did her M.A in Indian Music at Stella Mary's college, Madras. Beside her interest in music, she was also interested in writing and she wrote some skits and songs for cultural programmes in her college. Married to a noble husband, Renganathan, with two daughters, Indira got completely caught up with domestic duties for about 35 years. She is now 60 and back again to her writing. Here is a compilation of poems she has been hoarding all these years.
