 Belonging to a smal town in Kerala, Santhi got her Masters in English language in 1984 and got married the same year to
Muthukrishnan.
She spent the rest of the years bringing up their two sons: Koushik and Goutham. The family has been living in Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu, for the past 22 years.
She calls herself 'basically a successful homemaker'. Now that her sons are self-sufficient she finds herself left with plenty of time to be utilised in a fruitful way. So naturally she turned to freelance writing which is her hobby and dream.
At 44 years 'young' she finds life is smooth-sailing, "as nothing is as great being everything to your family and dear ones".
