The third anniversary of Smile Welfare Foundation is to celebrated on April 1, 2007, at the Kumara Rani Meena Muthiah College Auditorium, Crescent Road, Gandhi Nagar, Adyar, Chennai-600 020.
The morning session would be an NGO Summit, to be held between 10 a.m. and 1.30 p.m.
The chief guest of the summit would be Dr Ramanujam, Chief Educational Coordinator of TNSF and editor of Thulir
(TNSF magazine).
The summit would discuss best practices of various NGOs and would see participation from 20 NGOs from different districts of Tamil
Nadu.
The CSR wings of IT companies will also be participating.
The evening programme, to be held between 1.30 p.m. and 6.30 p.m., willl open with a theme dance by kids on Smile stepping into the fourth year.
This would be followed by the launch of the Sadhana Project, Phase - 1, for 2007-08.
A short film, entitled Spirit of Smile, would be screened on the occasion.
Smile Excellence Awards for Smile members and other NGOs would also be presented during the
programme.
Culturals from GLC and Suyam Kids would wrap up the proceedings for the evening.
The chief guest for the evening would be M B Nirmal, founder of Exnora International and 5th Pillar International.
