New Delhi, June 27: Fans can look forward to
a cricketing extravaganza as ESPN-STAR Sports prepares to
telecast India's tour of England and Australia and the inaugural
Twenty20 World Cup.
ESPN-STAR will telecast 157 days of cricket
from June 2007 to September 2008, which also includes the Asia
Cup 2008 and the ICC Champions Trophy scheduled next year.
India will play four Test matches and seven
one-day internationals against England starting next month.
This will be followed by the telecast of the
Twenty20 World Cup in South Africa in September, India's tour of
Australia involving four Tests and a tri-series with also
involving Sri Lanka will also be telecast on the network.
ESPN-STAR Sports will also be showcasing
action from Pakistan in the Asia Cup, involving 13 One-day
Internationals in May 2008. (Agencies)
