Bangalore, Sept 27: India’s cricket-only
television channel, Neo Sports, would telecast live the
India-Australia ODI series commencing from September 29.
Neo Sports will bring live the action from
Bangalore, Kochi, Hyderabad, Chandigarh, Vadodara, Nagpur and
Mumbai, Shashi Kalathi, CEO, Neo Sports Broadcast Private
Limited, told reporters here today.
The coverage on Neo Sports will also feature
‘Extra Cover’, a wrap around the programme enveloping the Live
Cricket, which will be telecast from Neo’s state-of-the art
broadcasting facility in Mumbai, he added.
Former Australian opener Michael Slater and
India’s Murali Karthik would join Radhakrishnan Sreenivasan, the
presenter at the studio, in bringing the game to the audience.
Neo Sports also has an exclusive arrangement
with bowler Brett Lee, who will give the viewer a sneak peek
into the Aussie camp, both before and after the match.
Neo Sports will beam its coverage in English
while Neo Sports Plus, its 24-hour sports entertainment channel,
would offer its viewers multiple language feeds in Hindi, Tamil
and Telugu.
Former Indian players, Nayan Mongia, Atul
Wassan and Yashpal Sharma would provide commentary in Hindi.
