Mumbai, June 20: The Indian squad would have two camps spread over five days each before departing for Sri Lanka in August for the triangular series. "The team would have a general conditioning camp and after a break during which they can be back home with their families, would undergo a cricket specific camp. Each camp would last for five days each," said BCCI secretary Niranjan Shah today.
Shah said the squad would be chosen after July 15 and the camps would be held either in Chennai or Bangalore as most other parts of the country would be experiencing monsoon. The squad would take part in a one-day series featuring hosts Sri Lanka and South Africa between August 14 and 29.
India, who are set to reach Sri Lanka on August 10, take on the hosts in their opening encounter on August 16 at Dumbulla. Each team faces the other twice before the final at the Premadasa Stadium in Colombo on the August 29. (Agencies)
