BCCI meet on home ODI series
Mumbai, Nov 2: The BCCI will decide on the venues and dates of two home ODI series to be played in January and February 2007, at Nagpur on November 12.
The BCCI's tours programmes and fixtures committee will meet under the chairmanship of Shashank Manohar to finalise the programme of the two limited over series, Board sources said.
The best-of-four match series against the West Indies would be held in January followed by a similar series against Sri Lanka in February.
These eight matches would act as the ideal tune-up for the March-April World Cup in the West Indies with the team set to reach the Caribbean islands on March 1.
According to the Board's rotation formula, the centres which have hosted the matches in the ongoing ICC Champions Trophy would be at the end of the list of venues hoping to host ties in the two home rubbers.
Mohali, Jaipur, Ahmedabad and Mumbai's Cricket Club of India have been the hosting centres for the Champions Trophy ties. (Agencies)
