Kolkata, July 20: Former BCCI chief Jagmohan
Dalmiya today claimed that he had 'nothing to do' with the rebel
Indian Cricket League, but said he was availabe for advice if
anyone does good work. "I am the one who started the
globalisation of cricket as ICC chief. When I became BCCI
president later on, I carried it forward through the New Areas
Development Project," Dalmiya told a press conference here.
"However, I must state that I have nothing to do with the ICL....
But if somebody is doing good work and they want my advice, then
even if it is BCCI, I am available," Dalmiya said.
Asked whether he would have recognised the
ICL if he was BCCI chief, Dalmiya replied, "it's too
hypothetical a question." (Agencies)
