Rajkot, Feb 11 The BCCI has decided to review the action of some bowlers, a Cricket Board official said here today.
"We have decided to review some bowlers whose bowling action has been found suspected," BCCI Secretary Niranjan Shah told reporters here today.
"We informed some bowlers whose action has been under scanner," Shah said and added the Board also informed the concerned association about the review of.
These bowlers would be called to the National Cricket Academy in Banglore for the review, Shah said.
"Our (Board) policy is not to allow any bowlers having unfair bowling action," Shah said.
At least 13 players have been shortlisted for further review but the Board Secretary refused to disclose their names.
The issue of domestic bowlers with suspected bowling action was noticed by BCCI's Director of Umpires and former Indian captin S Venkataraghvan, who asked the Board to take necessary action. (Agencies)
