Mumbai, Oct 15: New Zealand suffered a major setback today when their pace spearhead Shane Bond was ruled out of their first Champions Trophy cricket match against South Africa here.
Bond, coming out of an injury lay-off, was declared unfit for tomorrow's match due to stiffness in his back developed during a warm-up match against Baroda on Friday, a team official said.
