Ganguly fit for duel against Pak
Kolkata, Nov 12: India and Pakistan meet here tomorrow in a one-day cricket match to celebrate a milestone, but it will undoubtedly have the intensity and passion unique to the cricketing duels between them.
The beleaguered hosts, haunted by a string of dismal performances in one-dayers in recent times, received a boost ahead of the match with captain Sourav Ganguly being declared fit to take the field in what promises to be thrilling contest at the Eden Gardens.
Ganguly, who missed the last two Tests against Australia due to a groin injury, cleared the fitness test conducted by physio Andrew Leipus during the nearly three-hour practice session and will play the day-night match in his home city. (Agencies)
