Guwahati, Dec 17: Assam Social Welfare Minister Gautam Roy today threatened to resign his membership of the BCCI if the omission of Sourav Ganguly from the Test team was not probed into. 

Roy said that he would take up the issue of dropping of the stylish left-hander at the BCCI Marketing Committee meeting in Mumbai on December 20.

"If justice is not done to Ganguly even after his performance at the Delhi Test (against Sri Lanka), I will resign", Roy asserted.

"The entire country has been protesting against Ganguly's removal from the national squad. The wrong has to be corrected and justice rendered to him", the minister added. (Agencies)
