Powered by yet another magnificent century by Sachin Tendulkar, India prepared for the final in style with a 63-run victory against Sri Lanka in the last league match of the triangular one-day series here last night. 

Tendulkar struck his 33rd one-day hundred, a 102-ball 113 laced with 12 fours and a six, as India amassed 304, the highest total of the series so far, before being bowled out off the last ball of their quota of 50 overs. 

The Indians then came up with brilliant performance in the field to restrict Sri Lanka to 241 in 44.1 overs to notch up their fourth victory in six matches. India got a bonus point for bowling out the opposition within 243 runs and finished the league table at the top with 19 points. 

In the final tomorrow at Lord's, India will take on England who have 15 points. Sri Lanka could manage just four points from their solitary victory against England. 

Yesterday's match saw India returning to their winning ways after suffering a 64-run defeat to England in the previous game, their only loss in the series. 

It was Tendulkar who set up India's victory as he tore apart the Lankan bowling on way to his second century of the series. It was an uninhibited display of aggression by the master batsman who started with a flourish and kept the momentum throughout, unfazed by the loss of key wickets at the other end.
