The Aussies were received in a traditional manner by Assam Cricket Association officials at the Lokapriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport here. Fans had lined up to get a glimpse of the world champions who are already through to the final of the tri-series to be played in Eden Gardens. Meanwhile, heavy security arrangements have been put in place by the Assam police as per the guidelines of the BCCI for the November 9 one dayer, and the two hotels where the teams would stay, the stadium and the two-km stretch leading to the Nehru stadium have been sanitised.

Mediamen have also been barred from taking mobile telephones inside the stadium as all the facilities for transmitting news would be provided from the stadium complex. The New Zealand team is already here. (Agencies)
