Bangalore,
Nov 11: Indian skipper Sourav Ganguly might be under pressure in
tomorrow's match against us in the TVS Cup tri-series as he is
coming to the team after a while but not the visiting side, Aussie
skipper Ricky Ponting said. "No pressure on us. There might be
some amount of pressure on him as he has not played cricket for
quite a while," Ponting said when asked if Australia were under
additional pressure.
He said Mathew
Hayden and Adam Gilchrist, rested for the Guwahati tie against New
Zealand, were set to return to the squad for tomorrow's day-night
match against India. Replying to a question, he said Rahul Dravid
was a good player and "hard to stop', adding that the Aussies
had a general plan to get him out early.
About
motivating his team which has already qualified for the final, he
said: "It's not hard. That's the great thing about this
team." On bowling,
he said: "They have done a good job for
us." The fact that India have won all the three one-day games
played between the two sides in Bangalore, is not bothering
Australia.
"That is not a
big factor. How we play tomorrow matters, not how we played two
years ago," Ponting added. (Agencies)
