Chennai, Oct 21: The Rahul Dravid-led Indian team and the New Zealand team led by Stephen Fleming arrived here from Delhi to play in the opening one-day match of the tri-nation one-day series October 23. With the world cup champions Australia as the third team in the series, both the rival captains are keeping their fingers crossed about the one-day match in the wake of the metropolis receiving heavy rains.
The rival captains have decided to announce the playing 11 on the day of match. Dravid refused to divulge whether he will keep wickets in the match against New Zealand. "We finished the Mohali Test and immediately took a flight to Chennai from Delhi. There was no time to discuss with coach John Wright or the chairman of the selection committee, Syed Kirmani. All these things, including whether to play Badani, will be decided after the meeting tomorrow."
However, there were enough indications that Hemang Badani, who replaced Ganguly for two matches, will be in the final 11. (Our Correspondent)
