Fine Arts, one of the premiere sabhas in Chennai, will be conducting its fourth Natya
Darshan
seminar on dance for two days from December 18 at Bharathiya Vidya
Bhavan Auditorium, Mylapore.
This is the 30th year the art festival
is being conducted by Karthik Fine Arts for the December
season. The title for this year is
'Extensions to Tradition'.
According to Radhika Shurajit, the
convener for this year's seminar, said, "The morning sessions would feature lecture
demonstrations and the evening sessions would feature dance recitals. All the sessions
would be enjoyable. We have lined up many youngsters and many achievers in the field of
dance."
She further stated that all the morning
sessions are free for dance enthusiasts and the general public. This seminar
would be a very
informative one, she said.
The inauguration is on December
18
at 8.50 a.m. by Prof C V Chandrasekar. Nalli Kuppuswamy Chetty presides.
