There are some organisations that appoint personnel for Event Management. There are a lot more organisations that appoint Event Managers whenever there is need. The job involves planning of the event, publicising, organising etc. The Event Managers may earn anything from Rs.500/- to Rs.50,000/- depending on the 'size' of the programme. Well-established groups of Event Managers share a particular percentage among themselves. It is always desirable to form a small group of Event Managers, consisting of around 4 or 5 Managers in a group.

Since in the present scenario, the business and commercial establishments have to thrive in the face of stiff competition, Event Managers are a preferred cadre for organising the programmes effectively.
