Stella Maris art show
 The Department of Fine arts, Stella Maris College (Autonomous), Chennai, is conducting its annual art exhibition showcasing the collective talent of the final-year under-graduate and first-year postgraduate students.
Their creativity is evident in an array of expressions deriving from the use of pure colours, forms and collaged materials. The statements are simple or complex, objective or abstract, real or surreal. Employing varying media ranging from oils, acrylics, pastels and mixed media, their works are attempts at personal communication.
This exhibition seeks to facilitate the exposure of their creative expressions and mark their debut in the field of art.
The works will be on display from March 19 to 22 between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. at Amethyst, 14/30 Padmavathy Road, Gopalapuram,
Chennai.
Dr Alphonso Arul Doss will inaugurate the exhibition at 6 p.m.
