Culture Cafe Poetry Circle presents a reading from the translated works of Pablo Neruda alongside the rendering of the Spanish originals September 16, at the
British Council, Chennai, at 6.30 p.m.
For I no longer end in myself... A hundred years on, Pablo Neruda's poetry, true to his claim to eternity, still continues to dazzle readers across the world with its brilliance that is both fierce and passionate.
The reading will draw from a selection of Neruda's poems translated from Spanish to English by British translators, Alastair Reid, W S Merwin, Anthony Kerrigan and Brian Cole.
