 Display of 250 fiction titles
The British Council Library, Chennai, is organising a special display of over 250 fiction titles till August 27 (except August 26). You will find books by popular and well-read British authors such as Isaac Asimov, Ruskin Bond, Agatha Christie, Arthur C. Clark, Colin Dexter, Colin Forbes, Alistair Maclean, Ian Rankin, P G Wodehouse and many more. Members of the library can reserve the titles while they are on display.
The library provides a plethora of facilities - access to over 30,000 books, 1,000 DVDs, 500 CDs, 90 journals/periodicals on a wide range of subjects, 4,000 books for children as well as a host of online resources and other value-added monthly activities.
Library members can also have access to the online portal

which offers online English courses, self-development modules, communication tools like real-time chats, discussion fora, online polls and surveys and a whole range of online information resources. Members can have free Internet access at the online zone, whenever they visit the library on a first-come-first-served basis.
