 Allsec thanks cab drivers
 Allsec Technologies Limited (Allsec), one of Chennai’s earliest contact centres and a leading Indian third-party
voice-based BPO Service-provider celebrated Thanksgiving in a unique manner. On a day when every American thanked God for the blessings, Allsecians took the opportunity to thank those who made subtle differences in their everyday lives - their cab drivers. Drivers who risk their lives each day and night to ensure their safety, yet taking no credit for the
contributions they make.
Jagadish Ramamoorthi, CEO, Allsec Technologies, who took precious time off his tight schedule, made it from Bangalore overnight, just to be part of the team in showing his appreciation too. Speaking about the initiative, Ramamoorthi said, "We did it in our own Indian way.
Thanks, is a simple word but an effective way to appreciate someone’s work. What better way than making each and every member of the Allsec family feel they are appreciated?"
 In attendance on the occasion were a total of 52 drivers, 2 transportation supervisors, Allsec calling agents who are transported each day by the men of the moment and the Allsec Management. All 54 were presented with a shirt and a watch bought by donations from employees who wanted to show their appreciation to the men who play such an important role in their everyday lives.
Allsec Technologies, who over the weekend bagged the ‘Emerging HR Leadership Award' at the Asia Pacific BPO HR Summit 2005, just went one step further in its commitment to its people. "The award was in recognition of our commitment to people and people processes. Our employees are our major stakeholders and we invest a lot of time in their career planning and
growth. It just makes us so proud to know that all that we have invested in them has not gone in vain. By this gesture of theirs, it shows that they want to give something in return to those that are such a crucial part of their daily lives. A philosophy we hold very close to our hearts", Ramamoorthi added.
