 Kamal Haasan produces, directs and plays the lead role in
'Sandiyar', which was launched on April 18th.
But this time, the launching venue was Madurai, at the Medical College grounds.
Those present were AVM Saravanan, directors Bharatiraja, K. S. Ravikumar, theater owner and exhibitor Abhirami Ramanathan, producer Muralidaran, and distributor Chinthamani Murugesan among others. Napolean, and Nasser, the two prominent characters, also spoke on the occasion wishing Kamal and the film the very best.
Playing the female lead is Abhirami, with a supporting cast of Nasser, Napoleon, Pasupathi, Bala Singh, and OAK Sunder.
The story set in a rustic milieu, has music by Illaiyaraja. The stunt choreography is by Vikram Dharma, sets designed by Prabhakaran, editing by Sirish Kunder, camera work by Kesav Prakash, costumes by Sai, and make-up by Anil Pembrekar.
Produced by Rajkamal Films, Kamal Haasan directs and pens the screenplay.
