"We Change Lives". This is the punch line of Aptech computer education. And CHANGE indeed it was!! The grand mega-gala of the week got over with hungama, writes W Charles.
All the students of 64, Cathedral Road, were in for a real surprise at H F O on December 23, 2000. For the students so involved in
projects / assignments / theory / practicals round the year, Aptech decided it was time to give them a much-needed break. They were allowed to dance to the beat of H F O
Dj.
I was stunned to find mega stars Michael Jacksons and Britney Spears together, in a live concert. Nope, it was the students of Aptech. The way they danced to the beat was incredible. The dj needs a special mention.
The students were dressed for the kill, in a whole range of colours. Some turned up in great Indian ethnic stuff, some were in gentlemen's blazers, and quite a few studs in cargos and jeans and a good number in hot minies too. This actually must have forced HELL to FREEZE OVER.
At the end of the show, the crowning ceremony took place. Ramakrishnan was picked the best individual dancer, Mrs and Mr Ramakrishnan were crowned the best couple dancers, Thevaani and Shaan were adjudged the most-friendly Aptechites and Aarthi crowned as the best dressed
Aptechite.
At 2100 hrs, the party was sadly over. Though they left the HFO dance party hall, they continued to be in the hungama mood, the mood of HFO fun being unlimited and contagious.
The idea behind this party was to give the students a chance to enjoy life and make it possible for them to visit a place like HFO, which would otherwise be out of reach due to economical reasons or parents could refuse them permission.
Aptech thanked HFO for making it possible. The students thanked Aptech. Good Show
APTECH.
