The range of products and solutions on display at Connect 2003 include; Wireless broad band solutions, Communication networking products, Video conferencing/Dial-up facilities, networking components, infopower kiosks, Barcode printers, Wireless lan Computer peripherals, BPO, Medical Transcription & Telemedicine services, Analog & Digital EPABX systems; Enterprises verticals, especially in the area of Banking, Financial Services & Insurance, ICT infrastructure and e-Governance solutions and a host of other IT solutions and services. Companies that are launching their innovative products/solutions at Connect include; Allsec Technologies, K9 Technologies Pvt Ltd, Emerson Network Power, Select Technologies, Dax Networks, Banyan Networks, Shri Dharma Info Systems, Data Access India, Envison Information Systems and Technologies, Daffodil Software Ltd, Infonents Systems Ltd, TRS Forms and Gemini Communications Ltd.
Dishnet DSL Limited has displayed four products in this exhibition. The basic products are DSL and Dishnet 'Dial and Helloworld and 'The Hub'. There are four Dishnet enterprise solutions. They are: (a) DSL : This is the first ISP in India to offer bandwidth on demand for its customers who can choose the bandwidth depending upon their applications (from 64 kbbs to 512 kbbs, per second) at no extra cost. (b) Yap Jack Plus for dial customers, from which they can make ISD calls using 'Hello Cards' at a low cost of Rs. 4.75 per minute and a two port gateway for DSL customers to make international calls at low rates. (c) The Hub: This proposition could double the revenue of cyber cafes. With 622 Mbps of international bandwidth, they are in a position to deliver the concept of Bandwidth on Demand. Cyber cafes get the freedom to modulate speeds to any one of the 4 levels of bandwidth: 64 Kbps, 128 Kbps, 256 Kbps and 512 Kbps, on a real time basis. (d) Dishnet enterprise solutions offers premium bandwidth services like turnkey networking solutions, security solutions, video conferencing and data center services. It also has plans to launch WiFi and PMP in the immediate future. Banyan Networks Limited is a technology development company working in the convergent areas of Telecom and Computer Networking. It has an ongoing partnership with the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras (IIT- M). Banyan Networks has developed several leading edge technologies in the areas of Ethernet Switching, Voice over Data and high-speed remote connectivity. Banyan's product range includes Remote Ethernet Switches, Leased Line Modems, IP DSLAMS, Routers and Remote Access Servers. Dax Networks Limited, as a new attraction this year, have provided the facility of Wifi - wireless hot spots to facilitate visitors and even exhibitors who carry laptops to meet their mobile computing needs. In addition, they are planning to launch the entire range of Dax enterprise routers for SME, corporate and enterprise WAN connectivity solutions. This would further strengthen Dax's positioning as one of the widest networking brands in India. TATA Indicom makes business communications really simple and easy by using the latest technologies to offer the most comprehensive range of telecom services. It displayed a variety of telecom solutions for home and business needs The Exhibition is on at the Chennai Trade Centre, Nandambakkam, till September 21.
