Local call charges from Touchtel landline to any other fixed line and mobile phone have been pegged at 90 paise. Going further, STD calls made from Touchtel fixed line to any landline, fixed, mobile within Tamil Nadu are priced at Rs. 1.69 per minute. Launching the new tariff plans, K Krishnan, CEO, Touchtel, Tamil Nadu & Karnataka Circle said, “Touchtel is always at the forefront of bringing value-for-money offers to its customers. The launch of our Minute-Magic tariff plans, providing the benefits of zero effective rental backed by lower local and STD calling rates is yet another reaffirmation of this commitment.”
# Besides zero effective rental, customers also gets an additional talk time worth Rs 80 absolutely FREE * Call rate from Touchtel’s fixed line to any other fixed line for 3 minutes. Similar calling rate when the call is made to a mobile phone (GSM & WLL) for every minute of talk time. STD calls made from Touchtel fixed line outside Tamil Nadu circle up to 100 km ( For example Madurai and Coimbatore) will be Rs.1.69 per minute, up to 500 km (Bangalore) will be Rs.2.99 per minute, beyond 500 km (Mumbai & Delhi) to cost Rs.3.99 per minute. ISD calls made from Touchtel fixed line to the UK will be Rs.6.99 per minute, to US/Canada/Europe Rs 8.99 per minute, and to Gulf Countries Rs.18.99 per minute, and to the rest of the world Rs.15.99 per minute. Touchtel,
India's private fixed line service provider from Bharti Tele-Ventures Ltd., said
the monthly rental of the new tariff plans range from Rs 499, Rs 999 to Rs 1495.
All these plans also come with a FREE talk time ranging from Rs 495, Rs 1000
& Rs 1575, thus giving the customers the benefit of ZERO effective rental.
