Around 30 passionate bikers participated in the second leg of Castrol Power1 Throttle Max challenge held in Chennai on June 4, 2006.
The event generated much excitement and tested the riders’ skill and control in three different events.
The winners who emerged after strong competition were S Satish (up to 125 cc) and Emmanuel Clark (126 - 250 cc). The two winners will now go to the All India Finals to be held in Jaipur on June 18.
Speaking on the occasion, Nikhil Anandikar, marketing manager, Castrol India Limited, said, "Castrol Power1 Throttle Max has thrown up an exciting opportunity for biking enthusiasts. Commenting on the event, Satish, winner in the 125 cc event, said, "I have been waiting for an opportunity like this to participate in a bike riding challenge. Castrol Power1 Throttle Max has given me the platform to demonstrate my riding skills. Since, it is not just about speed, one needs a lot of control to finish the three tough challenges on the lowest time possible."
The Chennai event is the third of the 8-city mega event. The event is reaching the final stages with the Mumbai and Pune leg scheduled for next week.
