 Treasure hunt for cancer patients
The Doveton Corrie Past Students Association organised a Rally-cum-Treasure Hunt in association with Sahaayika – Aid to face cancer, to create awareness and raise funds for cancer-affected children, on Sunday, September 17, 2006.
In all, 42 cars were registered for the awareness campaign while 25 joined the treasure hunt. The car rally / treasure hunt began from Ispahani Centre, Nungambakkam High Road, at 9.30 a.m. A total of Rs. 60,000 was raised for cancer-affected children.
The rally was flagged off by Girija of
Sahaayika.
The winners of the treasure hunt were Jai Prakash / Ramesh (Rs.10,000), Hitesh / Vasanth (Rs.7,000), Shreyes Krishnan / Sneha (Rs. 5,000).
