Starting October 22, Chennai will be gripped by bowling fever with
corporates going head on into the race to be the next bowling champion.
The 6th TNT Cup - a bowling tournament exclusively for corporates - will
be held at DU Bowl, Egmore, over two weeks, with the final to be held on
November 3-4. The TNT Cup intends to provide fun, excitement and
post-work challenge for corporate teams.
With flexi timings and play as you please
“pre-qualifying rounds”, things are easier for corporates to lay back
and actually enjoy the tournament. There are four categories this year.
To start with, there is the Top Gun, which is for CEOs, MDs, VPs and the
like. And then there is the men’s, women’s, mixed doubles and the team
category (which would require four participants with a woman participant
being mandatory). There is no limit on the number of teams that can
register from a single company.
"This tournament is TNT’s attempt to encourage
teamwork and the spirit of sportsmanship through fun and leisure. This
tournament provides corporates an opportunity to unwind," said Abhik
Mitra, managing director, TNT India.
The last five tournaments have been very successful.
Each year the number of participants and enthusiasm has increased
tremendously.
